1/5/2017 · XC can break easily if you just try to face-tank everything, but it’s back literally 3 seconds later, meaning you can regen hundreds of shields right in the middle of fights. I prefer XC because the normal shield seems to never get a chance to recharge until the fight is over.

Shield goes down, I have to go idle even for a longer time. I can do the same thing with a normal shield (mk2, mk3) but it’s much more effective. It goes down earlier (less hitpoints) but recovers faster and sometimes even in combat. All in all I can fight much longer with shield XC or normal shield .
